WHO CAN ATTEND:
The 44th All India Criminology Conference welcomes academicians, researchers, practitioners, professionals, and students involved in the criminology and criminal justice sectors, as well as those who have an interest in these fields. It provides a valuable opportunity for healthy discussions and the exchange of ideas.
PAPER SUBMISSION & REGISTRATION:
To participate in the conference, participants are required to submit their abstracts and full papers. The abstracts should be emailed to 44th.isc.conference@nfsu.ac.in. Full papers, following APA format, should be submitted at the time of registration and should be between 4,000-7,000 words in length. The papers can be related to any of the conference sub-themes or any other topic falling under the broad theme of the conference. The submission guidelines provided should be followed while preparing the papers.

THE INDIAN SOCIETY OF CRIMINOLOGY (ISC): CALL FOR AWARDS:
The ISC acknowledges the significant contributions of individuals in the fields of teaching, research, and administration related to criminology and criminal justice. The following awards are open for nominations:
1. ISC - Kumarappa - Reckless Award: Recognizes significant contributions to teaching, research, or administration in the broad field of Criminology or Criminal Justice Administration.
2. ISC - Dr. B.S. Haikerwal and Professor Sushil Chadra Award for the Senior Social Scientist: Presented to a senior social scientist for their contributions to criminology within the broader field of social sciences.
3. ISC - Professor S.S. Srivastava Award for Excellence in Teaching and Research in Criminology: Identifies individuals who have made significant contributions to teaching and research in Criminology.
4. Fellow of the Indian Society of Criminology (FISC): Awarded to individuals who have actively participated in the activities of the Indian Society of Criminology, promoting its growth and objectives.
Awards will be presented during the inaugural and awards function of the 44th All India Criminology Conference, scheduled to be held on Thursday, 14th December 2023, at the National Forensic Sciences University, Gujarat.
DEADLINE: 15 NOVEMBER 2023
Nominations, along with supporting credentials and CV, should be sent to the Secretary, ISC, at isccontact1970@gmail.com, mentioning the Award Nomination as the subject of the email. The Award Committee, constituted by the Indian Society of Criminology, will decide the awardees.
ISC BEST RESEARCH PAPER AWARD - OPEN SCIENTIFIC SESSION:
The Indian Society of Criminology recognizes outstanding research papers in the field of Criminology, Criminal Justice, and allied fields. They award one Gold medal and one Silver Medal, accompanied by cash prizes of Rs. 5000 and Rs. 3000, respectively. Eligible papers should be based on scientific/empirical research conducted between 2021 - 2023 by young practitioners, research scholars, or students below 35 years of age. Birth certificates or Class 10-mark statements attested by the Head of the Department/gazetted officer should be attached for age proof. Full papers with abstracts should be emailed to The Secretary, ISC, at isccontact1970@gmail.com, mentioning "Best Research Paper" in the subject line, on or before 15 November 2023.
