Gurugram Shocker: Woman's Body Found in Trolley Bag Near Shiv Nadar School
A horrific discovery near Shiv Nadar School on Faridabad Road in Gurugram has gripped the city with fear and outrage. On Saturday, May 3, 2025, a black trolley bag containing the body of an unidentified woman, estimated to be 30–35 years old, was found abandoned on a roadside, prompting an intensive police investigation.
The Discovery
The gruesome find was reported late Saturday evening by a passerby, Ashok Kumar, who noticed a black trolley bag emitting a foul odor near Shiv Nadar School. Alarmed, he contacted the Sushant Lok police station, and officers arrived swiftly. Inside the bag, they found the body of a woman wearing a green top and black jeans. Her face had been crushed beyond recognition, and her head bore deep wounds, indicating a violent assault.
Police spokesperson Sandeep Kumar stated, "The woman's body was stuffed in a trolley bag and abandoned on the roadside. The disfigurement of her face and head injuries suggest a brutal murder, likely committed elsewhere before the body was dumped here."
Initial Police Findings
Preliminary investigations indicate the murder occurred recently, likely within 24–48 hours before the discovery, based on the body's condition. The police suspect the killing took place at a different location, with the perpetrator(s) using the trolley bag to transport and dispose of the body.
A case has been registered under sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) for murder and destruction of evidence at the Sushant Lok police station. Forensic teams have collected the trolley bag, surrounding soil samples, and other trace evidence for analysis.
Inspector Harish from Sushant Lok police station noted, "The injuries suggest a targeted attack, possibly motivated by personal enmity or a planned crime. We are awaiting the post-mortem report to confirm the cause of death and any additional trauma, such as sexual assault."
The incident has sparked fear among residents, with many expressing concerns about safety in an area considered relatively secure. Local resident Neha Sharma said, "It's terrifying that such a crime could happen in broad daylight. The police need to act fast to restore confidence."
The police have announced a ₹25,000 reward for credible information leading to the victim's identification or the culprit's arrest.

DCP (Crime) Vijay Pratap Singh stated, "We are leaving no stone unturned. The forensic evidence, CCTV footage, and public tips are our best leads. We appeal to citizens to share any information, no matter how small, to help us identify the victim and bring the perpetrator(s) to justice."
The investigation is also exploring whether the crime has links to organized crime, given the methodical nature of the body disposal. The police are coordinating with neighboring districts, including Faridabad and Delhi, to check for similar cases or suspects.
